Dad

My dad and step-mom called me today, singing happy birthday.  After a few innocuous phrases, I told Dad I was sorry that I wrote something that hurt his feelings.  He answered very graciously that the lesson here is not to post what I write without reviewing for fairness, respect, and generosity, (those are actually my words, but that is the same as what he said, only a little more formal.)

I am quite relieved to have that behind us.  Even if I’m writing absolute fact, I do need to consider my subject’s feelings before charging ahead.

Thank you for the Happy Birthday call, Dad, and Pris.  I really enjoyed it!

    • Dear Dotty,

Thank you so much! And thank you for your hopes for love and good wishes. I believe each of us can help the world by wishing these good things for each other.

      Love,
